Oh ..These Appraisals..they are so disgusting
We work through out the year ....and get finally they reveal our performance(?!!!)
Actually its business rating and not performance rating that happens due to these appraisals
I get always tensed due to them coz they decide on my efficiency and also next year pay,.......
I feel they are mostly based on personal perception and are not really scientific in thier approach.....

Our Balasubramaniam
Today is a wonderful day for telugu people
Infact all south indian people ......ofcourse to people who dont just hear but listen music
Its Birthday of none other than our beloved balu a.k.a SPB a.ka. Balasubrahmanian a.k.a S.P
He was and is the ruler telugu and tamil music industry
He is a Andhrite my birth but he embraced the tamil industry also
One can call him patala rakshasudu of telugu
He sang almost 40 thousand songs till now a record
My fav song which he sang is sirimalle neeve from the movie Pantulamma followed by Nuvvena Sampangi puvvula Nuvvena(from the movie Guppedu manasulu)
The alapana which he gives in Sirimalle neeve is simply superb and depicts the deeper wound in the heart
Though i dislike some of his overboard expressions in some of the songs
ex:pranuthi pranuthi ..in swathi kiranam..where he unnecessarily changes the tone to suit the protogonist
also atala nitala ...sivudu song in apadbandhavudu where he imposes unnecessary seriousness in the song ....
The sweetness in his voice can be depicted in songs like
Sarikotta cheera neyinchinaanu.....his voice and rendition in this song is excellent
Also similarly Gunde nindaa gudigantalu.......
Some time back when i was travelling back home in a cab i heard the song
Allukonavaa .....song in movie Mazaa i liked SPB in that song
The bhakti rasam in his voice can be well noticed in movie Thyagayya where he sang each and every song very very well.......
I donot like him doing a mimicry of other actors while singing..I think thats not the job of singers and that will send wrong signals for other singers to follow
I have heard in several interviews and read many times that singers like Mano ,Anand,Ramakrishna etc did not get the chances they deserved in the movie industry because of him....not sure though
There is much more to write but want to conclude as of now...
