my trip to tanuku 2012

Recently visited Tanuku a commercial town in west godavari region for couple of days

the reason for visit was for visiting a plot for sale and also to recharge myself..the former being more significant...

why a plot at tanuku..why not at hyderabad

i have this long lasting thought and dream to stay in a place of greenery where there is peace and tranquility with no electronic gadgets not even cell phone
and me and my husband leading a very simple...cool life..
i wanted to build a two roomed simple house there in the plot with all kinds of plants around...marigold...mandaram...thulasi ...what not...

i even went on to dream myself to be an old woman with simple cotton saree living peaceful with no targets in life....


so my travel to tanuku was for that
my handsome brother in law said that there is a plot very near to tanuku...so the plan was to go and visit that plot before taking a decision
all plan made for travel

left on bike towards sec bad station on bike at 5:45 am on New year day Jan 1st 2012
never saw hyd recently at such early hrs
all i could see is sweepers on road..and some elderly men going for a walk
remaining all age groups would have had a blast on new yr and probably have slept happily...
it was not so cold morning
we went to husbands cousins house first kept our bike there
...searched for an auto dint get one...took a bus and left to station

this was the first time i am boarding a general compartment
my parents never did much of travelling and hence dont know much abt trains
as we did not get tickets i opted for janmabhoomi which has all general
sat for 8 hours in general..did not feel that hectic
in the train ..watched a group of very young dynamic badminton players...from pullela gopichand academy ...thier coach was taking them to vijayawada
i envied thier fitness..they were sleek healthy
didnot have anything since morning and was feeling hungry and by the time train reached guntur
again...my handsome..... also smart brother in law...already ordered one of his sub-ordinates to bring food for us at guntur station
his name was "meera"..name sounded strange...thought the name would have been mirajuddin

was feeling extremely hungry when the train reached guntur...got the food ..ate like a hungry dog :)

was thinking what made this guy bring lunch for us
will my h+s BIL give him money
will subordinates do anything for bosses etc etc

reached tadepalli gudem ...felt relaxed
...alas...my chappals broke...walked limping to nearest bus station
my dear hubby instead of taking me in auto to tanuku..gave a statement
"why should we spend in village like this and save in city"

got into tanuku bus

the driver had a soft toy doll ..hanged beside him..looked strange to me...thought it was to remember his daughter ...

reached Y junction near tanuku

BIL along with his BIL and daughter were already waiting there for us
myself and husband on bike
and rest on another bike
reached home...........
yaaaaaaaaawn..........thats all for now.
good night
